Restauratour: Photographic Tour of D'Angelo

Scroll down for a photo tour of D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches.

By Lisa Bertagnoli, Contributing Editor -- Chain Leader, 8/1/2005

1. D’Angelo’s ordering counter displays menu boards for customers who enter through a side door, once the store’s main entrance.

2. Customers Kelly Nowlin and her kids sit at a counter near the window, which offers a bit of “theater” for customers inside and out.
3. The logo is hand-painted for an “authentic” look.

4. Bar seating near the sandwich make-up line gives customers a place to wait or eat.

5. The designers trimmed 100 square feet from D’Angelo’s kitchen to create faster ticket times and a bigger dining room.

6. Menu boards and a birch plywood divider create a foyer where there was none; food photos are magnetic to allow for easy change-out.
