Ready for Super Sunday

February 5, 2010

The Super Bowl is Sunday! Which is, of course, the best commercial-watching day of the year. It’s nice that they let the football players on between them, to give some of us a chance for a bathroom or snack break.

Here’s what I’m looking forward to seeing and will report back on next week:

Jack in the Box is rolling out new sandwiches on artisan bread, and announcing it on Sunday.

Taco Bell’s got Charles Barkley playing poet to promote its NBA Five Buck Box value meal.

NBA stars LeBron James and Dwight Howard are recreating McDonald’s classic “Showdown” commercial.

Denny’s is once again using its air time to offer a free Grand Slam Breakfast.

And official Super Bowl sponsor Papa John’s is planning to integrate deliveries into the game’s telecast.
