Desparate Measures

The corner of Euclid Avenue and East 79th Street in Cleveland is a busy place, and Rally’s occupies an ideal spot. Or did. For the past year, Euclid Avenue has been under one form of construction or another, making it difficult to find Rally’s entrance. Worse yet, ingress and egress at a McDonald’s outpost just 100 yards away remains relatively easy. Problem: How to attract customers. Solution: Practically give food away. A worker at the unit told me that the strategy is working.
