Last night I felt like eating ice cream but didn't feel like driving to Sandy's, the best place on Cleveland's East Side for the soft-serve version but miles away. So my wife and I headed to Baskin Robbins, inside a nearby Dunkin Donuts.
We weren't the only ones who had the urge for something sweet at 7:30 p.m.
Finally, a young worker called out from behind the counter, "Who's waiting for ice cream? You can wait right here." I hustled over and ordered two medium cones, on the menu for $2.15 each. That's more than at Sandy's, I thought. They'd better be good.
She asked for $1.76. Huh? "Medium cones are on sale for 88 cents," she declared. Can I take your picture, I said.
The ice cream? Merely passable. The smile? Priceless.
A Sweet Surprise at Baskin Robbins

I don't know. Check with your local franchisee. It may be an optional program.

Yes, that smile IS priceless. I'm in Dunkin Donuts every day for delicious coffee but I've never tried the Baskin Robbins Ice Cream. Guess I'll have to do so!!

Dave, it makes me really happy to see a busy Baskin Robbins; this was THE ice cream shop of my childhood and I feel bad to say I've not been in one in a decade. Even though the soft serve wasn't floating your boat.
