This is a television miniseries about a man who really enjoys Shari's Double Double Value Breakfast: two eggs, two pancakes plus two strips of bacon or sausage for only $3.99, every weekday morning.
I know he enjoys it, because in this series of commercials, which ran throughout the second quarter, he eats the Double Double every day, Monday (apparently the day he goes to work) through Friday (which seems to be the day he parties).
Customers aren't going to see the five commercials running back to back, as they are here. So they won't notice that the only things that really change are the guy's wardrobe and a few props. (Watch the salt and pepper shakers. They don't move at all!) But couldn't they mix it up a bit--perhaps have him eating another of the Fast Start Value Breakfast items on the day he cycles or goes fishing?
If you see a restaurant chain commercial or other video and would like to see it in this space, shoot us an email at chainleader@reedbusiness.com.
