We don't have Hardee's here, so we almost missed the Biscuit Holes commercial that pits the restaurant chain's "B holes" against "A holes" in a taste test.
Oh, I get it. Hee-hee-hee.
It's yet another provocative ad from CKE Restaurants, which brought you the sexy Audrina Patridge thoroughly enjoying her Teriyaki Burger on the beach and Padma Lakshmi's love affair with the Hardee's Western Bacon Thickburger. Only this commercial requires sound to enjoy it to its fullest.
The commercial is part of the Name Our Holes campaign. It invites customers to go to www.NameOurHoles.com and submit a name for the sweet treat. There, they will also find plenty of double-entendres describing the Biscuit Holes.
Some people are going to be offended by the "A hole" ad, perhaps because of the perceived meaning of A hole (What about the children!?) and perhaps because the viewer's intelligence is in question with this groaner of a joke. What do you think? Reply in the comments box below.
If you have a restaurant chain commercial or other video you'd like to see in this space, send a note to chainleader@reedbusiness.com.

LOL. This is hilarious. Anyone who doesn't like this is taking things way too seriously! Funny stuff.

The commercial goes too far and responses are waaaay out of line. Spoof marketing has gone much much too far. You are a major corporation...let's get professional.

I don't think the ad is too mature for children. I had to listen to it 3 times before I heard all the names, the people were talking so fast. It WAS funny, people expect advertising to be more than dry and serious.

An effective ad gets attention in that category you win. And it is funny. But I'm definately not getting in line to eat A-Holes or thier counter comparison B-Holes. It's the last thing I'll put in my mouth.

Boddie-Noell, a 341-restaurant Hardee's franchisee, says it will not run this racy ad in the markets it operates in.
