Church's Chicken Names Chief Information Officer

New CIO to lead the restaurant chain's information technology endeavors and all telecommunications.

PRESS RELEASE: ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Church's Chicken(r) announced today that Partha Mukherjee has been named Chief Information Officer. Mukherjee brings more than 20 years of experience in the information technology and business process outsourcing industry. With a proven record of accomplishments in outsourcing & offshore services, he is skillful in managing relationships with customers, partners and vendors. Mukherjee will lead information technology activities and manage all telecommunications, as well as supervise the web-based financial system at the quick-serve chicken chain.

CEO of Church's Chicken, Harsha V. Agadi, said, "We're extremely pleased to have Partha Mukherjee on board. With his extensive professional history in outsourcing, I know he will greatly enhance the executive team at Church's as an expert in information technology."

Before joining Church's Chicken, Mukherjee was Engagement Director at Tech Mahindra, a global IT & BPO outsourcing company with revenue of $1 Billion. He was involved in the transitioning of over fifty applications for a global Telecom company enabling cost reduction and business growth

Mukherjee started his career at HLC Hewlett Packard in Mumbai, India, as a Marketing Trainee and has since held positions at Loay Enterprise LLC, in Muscat (Sultanate of Oman), where he helped Acer Computers emerge as the market leaders in the Sultanate of Oman. Mr. Mukherjee moved on to becoming the Resident Director of HCL Europe Ltd, based in Dubai (UAE), where he set up the company's Middle East operations, during which he negotiated contracts and managed large customers like Dubai Ports Authority, Saudi Aramco, BAPCO, DUBAL and Emirates Airlines.

With success and growth of his career, Mukherjee became Senior Director for Covansys (now CSC), during which he was responsible for establishing the company's consulting & strategic outsourcing. He was also responsible for managing the Y2K projects for the State of Michigan, which was declared the best State in the United States for Y2K implementation. Moving on from this position, Mukherjee accepted the position of Associate Vice President & Head of East Operations at Sonata Software, where he headed Southeast operations, managed and grew their outsourcing business for the entire East half of the U.S. As a member of the Senior Management team, he was responsible for setting strategies and defining key market segments, as he negotiated large contracts with J&J, Dell, and PepsiCo.

Mukherjee joins Church's diverse team of executives from all over the globe, including the Middle East, East Asia, South Asia, the United States and more. Mukherjee hails from India. In an effort to better reflect its consumer base, Church's has shown a consistent commitment to diversity over the years, with over 50% of its employee base and franchisees being of color.
