PRESS RELEASE: SCOTTSDALE, AZ., June 10, 2009 - Kona Grill (NASDAQ: KONA) announces the launch of its enhanced menu nationwide. "Our objective in creating a new menu for Kona Grill was to continue to provide an outstanding dining experience for our guests, but doing so without increasing prices," said Mark Bartholomay, Interim CEO. "Integrating guest feedback into the menu was also one of our biggest goals. We want guests to know we listened, and integrating their feedback into the menu is one of the best ways to reinforce our commitment to guest satisfaction."

Continuing a tradition of delicious, internationally-inspired selections, the award-winning Kona Grill sushi menu has also been improved with innovative new items. Kona Grill is introducing the 1800(r) Tequila Seabass Roll with tempura battered sea bass, jalapeno, cilantro and avocado wrapped in soy paper and served with 1800(r) tequila-lime sauce. The Tuna Carpaccio - sashimi topped with wasabi mayo, daikon sprouts and ponzu sauce served with fresh arugula - and the Sushi & Sashimi Combo Platter are new to the menu as well.

There are also individually-sized portions of Kona's favorite dessert selections including the Passion Fruit Crème Brulee, Ultimate Fudge Brownie, and Caramelized Apple Crisp. For guests wanting to try something new, the Mochi Ice Cream is available in three flavors (green tea, mango and chocolate).

Fresh sauces made from scratch daily continue to be integrated into the enhanced menu. The new Seafood Linguine with mussels, scallops, shrimp and clams are tossed in Kona Grill's own marinara sauce and will satisfy any seafood craving. For those seeking lighter fare, the Chef Salad with mixed greens is topped with macadamia nut chicken, eggs, bacon, avocado, diced tomatoes and is topped off with Kona Grill's freshly made honey Dijon dressing.

Other notable new menu offerings include appetizers of Ahi Wonton Crisps and the Chicken and Shrimp Romaine Wraps, with this item also making an appearance on the Happy Hour Menu. Thin-Crust Artisan Pizzas with enhanced ingredients are available on the new menu as well (available in Margherita, White or Basic).

For individuals with favorite items on the Kona Grill menu, no worries. Classic menu selections, including the Macadamia Nut Chicken, Sweet Chili Glazed Salmon, Almond-Crusted Pork Tenderloin and other menu favorites are still available.
