-- Chain Leader, 11/4/2009 8:33:00 AM

PRESS RELEASE: Houston, Texas - November 3, 2009 - After opening its first location in La Porte, Texas, in 2008 and quickly becoming a local favorite, Bullritos(r) is proud to open its third franchised location in Greenway Commons, located at Weslayan and Richmond Avenue in Houston. The chain was founded by Russell Ybarra, president and founder of Gringo's Mexican Kitchen. Bullritos serves burritos (bullritos), tacos and bowls (bullritos without tortillas).

Motivated by his personal experience of running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain, Ybarra extended his culinary palette into a Spanish-inspired, hip burrito joint complete with high-quality ingredients, frozen margaritas and talented "burristas" (burrito rollers). Bullritos, bowls and tacos are loaded with any combination of grilled fajitas, two styles of rice, three options of beans, chile con queso, freshly-cut veggies and mild to spicy salsas. To create a "Custom Bull," patrons indicate their order by marking their desired style and ingredients on bull bags with red markers. Burristas create the bullrito, bowl or tacos, and put them in the bag for the guest to "run with it," emphasizing the "bag 'n' go" concept.

"We hope to impact more communities in a positive way with every new Bullritos location," said Ybarra. "The philosophy behind Bullritos has always been to deliver delicious food with the finest ingredients as well as to give back to the community."

Bullritos has also begun a "Charit-a-bull" program that allows various community organizations to fundraise through the restaurant, earning 20 percent from all orders that render specially printed flyers. Bullritos is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and is closed on Sundays so associates can rest and focus on their families.

Brought to you by the Gringo's Mexican Kitchen family, Bullritos is a quick-casual, family-friendly burrito joint serving bag 'n' go burritos (Bullritos), bowls and tacos. Bullritos is committed to providing the highest-quality product possible with a strong emphasis on value and guest satisfaction. For more information, visit www.bullritos.com
