Menchie's New Store with Free Frozen Yogurt

Menchie's celebrates grand opening of first Chatsworth, Calif., location with free frozen yogurt.

PRESS RELEASE: ENCINO, Calif., October 8, 2009 - Menchie's Group, Inc., the leader in self-serve frozen yogurt, will hold a grand opening event at its newest location in Chatsworth, Calif. from 2pm to 6pm on Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17.  Located at 9201 Winnetka Avenue near the Winnetka movie theatre, this marks the 19th store location for Menchie's.
 
To celebrate the grand opening, Menchie's Chatsworth will offer free frozen yogurt to the first 50 customers on Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17 starting at 2pm. There will also be live music with a disc jockey, face painting with every purchase, and a t-shirt coloring contest. The top ten winners in the t-shirt coloring contest will win a $30 gift bag.

Customers will also have the opportunity to meet "Manny on the Streets" from 102.7 KIIS-FM on Saturday from 3pm to 6pm.

With over 100 yogurt flavors and 40 toppings in rotation in every store, the concept is simple - customers just Mix, Weigh, and PayTM!  Since opening its first location in California just over two years ago, Menchie's has grown to become the nation's hottest frozen yogurt concept. 
 
Menchie's is also actively involved in the community. The Chatsworth location will partner with local schools in fundraising activities and education incentive programs. Annually, each Menchie's store donates thousands of dollars in cash and products to local schools to support student programs.
 
Free frozen yogurt at the above events is up to 12 ounces while supplies last. Limit one per customer.
