Papa Gino's Bolsters Management Team

Papa Gino's Holdings bolsters management team with promotions of two outstanding industry veterans to executive vice president.

PRESS RELEASE: Dedham, MA (PRWEB) July 7, 2009 -- Papa Gino's, Inc., parent company to Papa Gino's and D'Angelo, announced two strategic promotions geared toward strengthening the company's day-to-day operations. Gary Sandeen and Kathy Tirrell are promoted to Executive Vice President of Operations for Papa Gino's and D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches, respectively. Both Gary and Kathy will be responsible for all aspects of each brand. Their leadership is critical to driving superior execution at the restaurant level and to ensuring the sense of urgency that is needed throughout the organization to deliver strong results.

As Executive Vice President of D'Angelo operations, Ms. Tirrell will lead all critical programs for D'Angelo. Prior to her promotion, Ms. Tirrell was Senior Vice President of Restaurant Operations since December 1993. Ms. Tirrell began her career in 1974 as a Team Member, and has held numerous management positions since then, including General Manager, Opening Restaurant Coordinator, District Manager, and Regional Vice President. Ms. Tirrell has an extensive background in restaurant operations, having opened over 90 D'Angelo restaurants during her career. Ms. Tirrell is responsible for implementing numerous strategic initiatives. She resides in Easton, Massachusetts with her family.

Mr. Sandeen will lead Papa Gino's restaurant operations as Executive Vice President. Prior to his promotion, Mr. Sandeen was the Vice President of Restaurant Operations of Papa Gino's since October 2004 and was Regional Vice President from 2000 to 2004. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Sandeen spent several years with Lone Star Steakhouse and with Fuddruckers, where he held several positions including Vice President of Operations and Vice President of International Operations. Mr. Sandeen has 25 years of restaurant operational experience and has been instrumental in implementing key strategic initiatives at Papa Gino's. Mr. Sandeen resides in Charlton, Massachusetts with his family.
