Canadian Arby's Restaurants Promote Photo Contest

Arby's restaurants celebrate the best of Canada with a Great Canadian Snap & Drive Photo Contest and $2.99 Great Canadian sandwich deal.

PRESS RELEASE: ATLANTA, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Arby's lovers across Canada are invited to participate in The Great Canadian Snap and Drive Event, an interactive contest that encourages Arby's fans to visit local restaurants and snap a photo under the iconic Arby's red hat. Prizes include a Suzuki SX4 and Sym HD200 Scooters. TV spots, online banners, a Facebook page and Twitter feeds will support The Great Canadian Snap and Drive Event. In addition, there will be a daily online sweepstakes to award 38 Sony Ericsson camera phones, where Arby's fans are encouraged to creatively display their patriotism by snapping photos of themselves at their favorite place in Canada or enjoying a Great Canadian sandwich.

The Great Canadian Snap and Drive Event prizes include:

* Grand prize: Suzuki SX 4

* Secondary prizes: Sym HD200 Scooters (2)

* Daily prizes: 38 camera phones from Sony Ericsson

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The contest started on May 25, 2009 at 12:00:01 AM (ET) and closes on July 1, 2009 at 11:59:59 PM (ET). Open to residents of Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec) who have reached the age of majority at the time of entry in the jurisdiction in which he/she resides. Subject to Official Rules, prize descriptions and odds disclosure available at www.snapanddrive.ca.

In addition to the contest, Arby's is offering Canada's favorite Arby's sandwich -- the Great Canadian -- at a special low price of $2.99 through July 1. The sandwich features Arby's classic thinly sliced, oven-roasted roast beef topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, pickles, mustard, ketchup and mayo inside a toasted sesame seed bun.
