Genghis Grill Opens Four New Restaurants

Restaurant chain Genghis Grill is bucking the trend in '09 with recent openings of four brand new locations.

Genghis Grill is bucking the trend in '09 with recent openings of 4 brand new locations in Clearlake - TX, Killeen/Harker Heights - TX, Frisco - TX and Little Rock - AR.  Genghis Grill has recently signed a 4 store development agreement with HC Investment Holdings, a restaurant group based out of Winston Salem, North Carolina, to develop Charlotte and its surrounding markets.
 
Twenty new restaurants are slated to open around the country in 2009, KHANQUERING throughout the Southwest, South Central, Midwest, and Southeast.  Expansion has been a company focus for years and you can now find Genghis Grill in 12 states.
 
The aggressively expanding 31 unit chain operates locations through franchised and corporate stores throughout AZ, CO, IA, IL, MO, MN, NM, NV, TN and TX.  Additional locations in AR, KS, MO, TN, OK, GA, NC, NM, NV, and TX are pending upon construction or site selection.
 
The first Genghis Grill opened in 1998 in Dallas, TX with very humble beginnings. Today, Genghis Grill is a segment leader when it comes to Mongolian Barbecue. It offers a Heart Healthy dining option along with an array of recipes to choose from KHAN'S KITCHEN (food bar). The growth of the concept has been predominantly through its kult like following.
