Denny's satisfies consumers' appetite for affordable, charable and portable holiday food.

PRESS RELEASE: SPARTANBURG, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--It's all about food this holiday. As consumers move into a "recession obsession," more and more Americans will go back to basics and core values this season. Food will still be central but shoppers will look for enjoyable and different ways to stretch their dollars. Denny's understands the mood of the season and is offering a lineup of sharable, portable and affordable products, giftables and holiday meals that bring folks together to celebrate the joy of food...in a real and relaxed way.

Denny's holiday program, from delicious pies to affordable, gift cards that are practical and sensible, runs 'round the clock through the season. Denny's offers a full plate of dressed up meals and deals:

Portable, Sharable and Affordable!

Consumers who are saying no to those expensive lattes can now take a break from the stress of the season by relaxing with holiday drinks and food that taste great and are within every budget.

* Portable Classics at a Value Price: Twists on old favorites that will bring back dear memories. All the flavor of Denny's popular classics wrapped up in a new portable and affordable way, The Half Grand Slamwich(r) and the Half Moons Over My Hammy(r), both served with hearty hash browns, will hit the spot and keep everyone's energy up during this hectic holiday season. The Half Grand Slamwich(r) ($5) consists of maple and spice-buttered potato bread that is layered with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, mayonnaise and American cheese and then grilled to perfection. The Half Moons Over My Hammy(r) ($4) is a ham and scrambled egg sandwich with Swiss and American cheese on grilled sourdough. This offer is good Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. Portable and easy to eat on the go, these brand treasures are the right size at a value price. Prices vary by store location.
