CEO and President of Metromedia Restaurant Group Resigns (Press Release)

Clay Dover steps down from position.

PLANO, Texas (May 27, 2008) - Clay Dover, the President and CEO Metromedia Restaurant Group (MRG) today announced his resignation from his position of President and CEO of Metromedia Restaurant Group.  His responsibilities involved leading the MRG family of brands, which includes Bennigan's Grill & Tavern, Bennigan's SPORT, Bonanza, Ponderosa, Steak and Ale and The Tavern concepts.

"There was a difference in opinion between ownership and myself for the strategic direction for the company," said Clay Dover, resigning president and CEO of MRG.

Dover was named President and CEO of MRG in 2007 and was previously the Chief Concept Officer for the company.  Dover was honored with the national 2007 Chain Leader Protégé of the Year Award for his career achievements.  In 2008, he also accepted the Cheers Magazine Award for Beverage Excellence and the title of Best Chain Spirits Program for Bennigan's. 

Dover was responsible for the creation of Bennigan's SPORT, the company's new growth concept, the expansion of 29 Degree Tavern and developing Project Phoenix - a national remodeling program for company and franchise restaurants across the country.
