Restauratour: Photo tour of Happy Joe’s Cafez

Scroll down for a photo tour of Happy Joe's Cafez.

By Lisa Bertagnoli, Contributing Editor -- Chain Leader, 4/1/2006

1. Acoustic tiles dampen noise and add visual interest to Happy Joe’s Cafez’s dining room.

2. Happy Joe’s long entryway leads to the ordering counter.

3. Booths and moveable tables and chairs are designed to accommodate large parties of walk-ins.

4. Game boards, album covers and other wall decorations give kids something to look at while they wait for their food.

5. A “pen” and neighboring arcade host children’s birthday parties.

6. Clocks and small flower paintings look like what might hang on a home-kitchen wall.

7. “Pizza-sauce red” paint echoes Happy Joe’s signature product.

8. Balloon-printed curtains, hung from the ceiling, enclose two private dining areas.
