1. Stone and stucco details tie together the interior and exterior.
Bright blue, a hue found in every room, carries over from On The Border’s previous prototype.
2. Booth and table seating make the bar part of the restaurant, not just a waiting room. |
3. A vaulted ceiling, wrought-iron balcony, yellow-framed window and a stone wall decorate the courtyard, or center room.
4. The vast space is divided into three rooms, visible to each other via doorways, archways and windows. |
5. Photos and authentic Mexican artwork decorate the bright walls of the spacious “family room.” |
6. To make the design authentic, On The Border researched the use of stone and colors in Mexican haciendas.
7. The stucco, stone and cedar combines with the bright colors to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere, qualities the previous redesign lacked.
8. A versatile star, the Fajita Grill gets fajitas to customers hotter, fresher and faster. |
