Restauratour: Photographic tour of RA Sushi

Scroll down for a photo tour of RA Sushi.

By Lisa Bertagnoli, Contributing Editor -- Chain Leader, 6/1/2004

1. Signature red balls were homemade in the original RA Sushi; they’re now manufactured professionally for a smoother look.
2. The bar seats about 28 and comprises about 35 percent of sales.
3. A glass-art piece behind the sushi bar glows when the lights go down.
4. Opaque glass canopies above RA Sushi’s entrance and sushi bar break up the space.
5. The health department prevented RA Sushi from installing a wine rack on the patio.

7. Wood tabletops, glass dividers and concrete walls are among RA Sushi’s earthy elements.
