Nate 'n Al Opens First New Restaurant in 64 Years
World famous deli Nate 'n Al celebrates grand opening of its first new restaurant in 64 years at Caruso's The Lakes at Thousand Oaks on Tuesday, November 17.

PRESS RELEASE: THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nate 'n Al is bringing its famous deli creations to Thousand Oaks with the opening of its first new restaurant on Tuesday, November 17 at The Lakes. When the doors open to the public at 7 a.m. guests will be greeted by owner David Mendelson, grandson of original owner Al Mendelson, and treated to samples of the restaurant's signature dishes including the rye bread, potato pancakes and matzo ball chicken soup. The restaurant is serving the same menu as it does at its long-standing Beverly Hills location. Restaurant hours in Thousand Oaks will be 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday thru Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Just in time for Thanksgiving: Nate 'n Al is open Thanksgiving Day until 4 p.m. and offers a traditional Thanksgiving dinner of turkey and all the fixings available for dining in or takeout. In addition, in honor of the grand opening, Nate 'n Al is offering a fun Thanksgiving special. Customers who come in dressed as a turkey on Thanksgiving Day, or the following Friday, Saturday or Sunday will get a free turkey sandwich - only at the new Thousand Oaks location.

Outdoor ice skating: The Lakes features a variety of shops and restaurants around a large park and lake, a portion of which is transformed into an ice skating rink for the holidays. The ice skating rink also will debut on Tuesday and be open to the public from 11:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. For additional information on hours of operation and costs go to shoplakes.com.
