Red Mango was the first retailer to offer made-to-order iced teas fortified with probiotics, which debuted in July of 2009. The company introduced three flavors: Lemonocity(TM), Mysteaque(TM) and Fanteasia(TM), each incorporating GanedenBC30(r), a patented strain of probiotic shown to help support the immune system and regulate the digestive system.

"Ganeden is thrilled to share this award with Red Mango," added Mike Bush, vice president of business development for Ganeden Biotech. "The probiotic iced teas developed in conjunction with Red Mango are a great step forward for probiotic delivery in a product that is widely consumed. We believe that it is important for consumers to integrate probiotic products into their everyday lives without having to add new habits or new products into their daily rituals. For iced tea drinkers, this innovation is a huge leap forward."
