Honey Dew Donuts Raises Breast Cancer Awareness
Honey Dew Donuts announced today that they will once again participate in October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donating to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.

PRESS RELEASE: PLAINVILLE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Honey Dew Donuts(r) announced today that they will once again participate in October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donating to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc(r). Honey Dew began their partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation in 2007 and has proudly donated over $250,000 towards this worthy cause.
Throughout the month of October, Honey Dew shops throughout New England will display a large pink ribbon noting that "We are tied to the cause" and all shop employees will wear a pink ribbon pin as part of their uniform. Customers can go into the shops and purchase a paper pink ribbon for $1 and write their name or the name of a friend or family member that has been touched by this disease. All donated ribbons will be displayed on the shops windows honoring those who have contributed to this cause. All proceeds will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation's mission is to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need. To date, it is estimated that through Honey Dew's contributions, over 2,500 uninsured women have been provided a mammogram.
