Pat & Oscar's Promotes Three to Senior Executive Team
Pat & Oscar's Restaurants announced the promotion of three managers to the company's senior leadership team.

PRESS RELEASE: CARLSBAD, Calif. (April 3, 2009) - Pat & Oscar's Restaurants (www.patandoscars.com) today announced the promotion of three managers to the company's Senior Leadership Team.
Jim Konstantinides moves from vice president to executive vice president of business development, Nicole Abraham rises from marketing manager to director of marketing and brand development and Stacey Frederiksen is promoted from human resources director to vice president of human resources. "All three of these outstanding employees have been a vital part of Pat & Oscar's success and growth over the past few years and we are thrilled to move them into the Senior Leadership Team, working collaboratively with other team members as we expand our franchising operations and other plans," said John Kaufman, president and CEO at Pat & Oscar's.
Konstantinides has over 30 years of extensive senior level management experience in restaurant site selection and business development with skills vital to rapidly growing start-ups as well as established national restaurant chains. He has acted as a real estate consultant to a number of restaurant chains, including Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, Fatburger and Koo Koo Roo Chicken. In addition to his development work for Pat & Oscar's, he has also worked, in various capacities, with such well-known chains as Daphne's Greek Cafe, Applebee's, Denny's, La Salsa, TGI Friday's, Wolfgang Puck Food Company and Manchu Wok.
Konstantinides' extensive expertise comes from a grassroots understanding he gained as an owner/operator of his own restaurant concept. Through years of negotiations with practically every major developer in North America, he provides professional representation and steadfast solutions for a wide range of business needs.
Abraham has been with Pat & Oscar's for nearly five years, working most recently as marketing brand manager, responsible for leading the strategy, brand development and execution of marketing communications programs and services for the company's 19 locations. As director of marketing and brand development, she will now not only oversee all marketing efforts and communications programs, but also work aggressively with other Senior Leadership Team members to branch the Pat & Oscar's brand to other markets and opportunities.
Prior to her tenure with Pat & Oscar's, she was with SignOnSanDiego, the leading web-based communications portal in San Diego County, where she worked with the head of marketing to research, concept and execute large-scale marketing programs designed to boost traffic and web sales. Her expertise includes creative concept management and development in tandem with external agencies, media research and buys, production management, grassroots marketing and e-mail database development and maximization. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing from San Francisco State University and also oversees the company's community relations activities.
Frederiksen is responsible for all human resource and development functions for Pat & Oscar's, including the creation and maintenance of a positive work environment through the enhancement of a corporate culture conducive to hard work and lots of fun. Her role also includes recruitment, insurance negotiations, compensation, performance management, leadership training, development of managers and supervisors, employment law compliance and employee relations.
She joined Pat & Oscar's in early 2005 and has been managing all human resources activities since that time. Earning her bachelor's degree at Iowa State University, she double majored in Psychology and Human Development, and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
