PRESS RELEASE: (OKLAHOMA CITY) – Ghouls, goblins, princesses and ballerinas are invited to trick-or-treat at SONIC Drive-In on Halloween and get a $.50 corn dog. From 5-10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, at participating SONIC Drive-Ins, parents can bring their trick-or-treaters to the drive-in for an affordable meal before they hit the neighborhood to get their sweet treats.

The corn dog combines what everyone is looking for on Halloween: a delicious hot dog surrounded in a sweet corn batter and fried to a crispy golden brown. Pair the corn dog with SONIC’s apple slices and 1% low-fat milk for the perfect pre-Trick or Treating meal. Kids can get their sweets and fresh fruit all in one meal.

“The corn dog is a great value for families and our customers on Halloween,” said Dominic Losacco, vice president of marketing for SONIC. “It’s a family-friendly food that’s easy to please everyone and easy to eat while on the go.”

Costumes aren’t required to get this great deal; customers of all ages can enjoy the $.50 corn dog. It’s the perfect on-the-go snack.
