WOW Cafe and Wingery Expands at Colleges

In the midst of a down economy, WOW Cafe and Wingery continues to show growth throughout Southeast and into university and college campuses.

PRESS RELEASE: NEW ORLEANS - (Nov. 2, 2009) - WOW Café and Wingery, a New Orleans inspired family restaurant, continues its growth momentum with the addition of several WOW Café locations throughout the United States.  A contributing factor is WOW Café's relationship with Sodexo, a leading food and facilities management company, to expand its restaurant portfolio into colleges and universities across the United States.  In 2009 alone, WOW Café and Sodexo collaborated to open eight campus locations with additional locations at Xavier University and Texas Southern University to open by the end of the year.
 
To date, WOW Café has 53 locations in 21 states and four additional under construction.  Out of the 53 locations, 16 are on college or university campuses.  As a result of partnering with WOW Café and Wingery, Sodexo has opened the following WOW Café locations on campuses across the country this year:

* Franklin and Marshall (Lancaster, Pa.)
* Loyola College (Baltimore, Md.)
* Bellarmine University (Louisville, Ky.)

* Marquette University (Milwaukee, Wis.)
* St. Michael's College (Colchester, Vt.)

In addition to these campus locations, WOW Café has opened 11 locations thus far in 2009, with its newest location in Warner Robins, Ga.  The restaurant expects to grow to 75 units across the country in 2010.

WOW Café offers the option of a full-service, fast casual or QSR unit design. The full-service option offers seating for up to 120 guests with full-service bar, and features wall-to-wall television screens. The fast casual design supports seating for 70, with the option of full or limited-service bar and wall-to-wall television screens.  The QSR design is standard for college campuses as well as mall locations.
 
A fun, family restaurant, WOW Café and Wingery features 17 proprietary sauces and dressings. WOW Café serves wraps, oversized salads, Angus burgers on Texas toast, quesadillas, fajitas other southwest items and of course wings, tenders and shrimp.
