PRESS RELEASE: SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Seattle's Best Coffee announced today that they have signed an agreement to serve freshly brewed Seattle's Best Coffee as part of SUBWAY(r) restaurants breakfast offerings. By the end of 2009, more than 9,000 SUBWAY(r) restaurants in the U.S. will feature Seattle's Best Coffee, with plans to expand into more restaurants during 2010. Additionally, an agreement was signed to bring Seattle's Best Coffee to a group of more than 800 SUBWAY(r) restaurants in Canada before the end of 2009.

"Today, consumers are looking for and expect a high-quality, premium coffee experience wherever they are," said Michelle Gass, president, Seattle's Best Coffee. "We are confident that our brand has wide-ranging appeal and believe that Seattle's Best Coffee's Uncommonly Smooth(tm) taste will pair perfectly with SUBWAY's fresh, quality offerings."

Smooth roasting coffee since 1970, Seattle's Best Coffee uses only high-quality Arabica coffee beans, and roasts them to create an Uncommonly Smooth(tm) cup of coffee. SUBWAY(r) restaurants will feature a fully-branded Seattle's Best Coffee program, providing customers with a premium, great tasting specialty coffee to accompany their freshly made Subway breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurants will freshly brew Seattle's Best Blend(r), (a signature coffee house blend that features a sweet, lively, snappy flavor with an incredibly smooth finish), Henry's Blend(r) (a nutty, hearty and flavorful blend which is also used in all espresso beverages in Seattle's Best Coffee cafes) or 6th Avenue Bistro(r) blend (a dark, rich and smooth blend), along with Decaf Seattle's Best Blend(r).

"We are proud to be able to offer the high-quality, fresh brewed Seattle's Best Coffees in many of our locations. We recognize that a great cup of coffee can be an integral part of one's day. The blend selections available from Seattle's Best Coffee will wonderfully compliment our breakfast menu," said Suzanne Greco, Director of Research & Development at SUBWAY(r) restaurants.
