PRESS RELEASE: CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - March 24, 2009) - There is such a thing as a FREE LUNCH! ROTI MEDITERRANEAN GRILL is celebrating the grand opening of its third location at 1240 East Route 45 in Vernon Hills on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 with a food drive to benefit the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., all guests who bring in five non-perishable food items will receive a FREE LUNCH.
To celebrate the new store opening, Roti has partnered with the Northern Illinois Food Bank to help fill their shelves. "These are challenging times and that means people have less to give to community organizations like the Northern Illinois Food Bank," said Roti Founder, President and CEO Bill Post. "We believe in supporting local organizations and our community. We are thrilled to bring 25-30 new jobs to the area with the opening of the store, but if we can go one step further and help feed those in need, that's even better."
On Tuesday, April 7 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Roti customers who come to the Vernon Hills store with at least 5 non-perishable food items will actually receive a FREE LUNCH.
"Getting healthy food on the table is such a basic necessity yet it's not always easy to do when money is tight. The Northern Illinois Food Bank is delighted and grateful to Roti for considering the needs of the people we serve," said Sarah Slavenas, Northern Illinois Food Bank Communications Manager.
