PRESS RELEASE: ATLANTA, Oct. 19, 2009 - One of its most favorite dessert specialties, Nutty Apple Crisp, returns to Ted's Montana Grill restaurants this month.
Starting with tart Granny Smith apples baked in a warm caramel sauce until tender, Ted's Nutty Apple Crisp comes topped with a crispy oatmeal pecan crust and a big scoop of Häagen-Dazs(r) vanilla ice cream. The dessert is big enough to feed two to four people.
And for those dessert lovers who can't wait to make it into their nearest Ted's Montana Grill, Corporate Chef Chris Raucci is sharing Ted's own special recipe for this wintertime sweet treat (recipe enclosed).

"Our guests can't wait for Nutty Apple Crisp to return each year," Chef Raucci explains. "We receive letters and emails from people all year long requesting the recipe. We consider that the best compliment of all, so we've decided to share our recipe for the first time."
"My daughter and I really enjoy baking together, and being able to use fruit at the height of the season is one of our favorite ways to cook," says Debbie Pracher of Atlanta. "Our apple crisp may not rival Ted's specialty, but we'll have fun giving the recipe a try at home."
For those who want to stay out of the kitchen, guests can visit any Ted's Montana Grill restaurant to savor the scrumptious dessert, sold for $7.99 at all restaurants now through March (price may vary by market). For a list of locations, visit www.tedsmontanagrill.com/locator.html.
